Digishare @ loadbee eCommerce Summit – Will AI Solve All of Your Product Listing Problems?

Digishare were once again honoured to speak at this year’s loadbee eCommerce Summit in sunny Amsterdam. One of Europe’s most vibrant cities played host to a day of masterclasses, seminars and talks by brands, retailers and ecommerce experts. Expertise was shared, insights given, and everyone came away with a renewed understanding of what the current state of online retail is, and where the major trends are heading.

As part of our participation in the event, our COO Richard Coombes presented a talk on the very particular uses of AI that Digishare has focused on:

• Golden Record – creating a standardised retail schema
• Mapping Engine – from the brand to the retailer
• AI Process Integration – exploring new opportunities to rework existing product setup flows, and highlighting common problems and pitfalls

As someone with multiple years of experience in developing AI solutions, Richard was keen to stress the important role that human expertise still has to play in direction and validation, while exploring the vast opportunity available to remove indvidual manual processes, and bring order to product listings on multiple retailers – something that remains one of the most chaotic and frustrating areas of online retail.
